Tea Blending
Tea blending is when one or more different teas are combined either with each other or with botanicals including herbs, spices, fruit, flowers, and essential oils. The art of tea blending is to deliver a well-balanced flavor from various origins and characters, creating a new taste or aroma and combining different health benefits.
Creating a tea blend is a long and difficult process requiring knowledge and experience in many types of tea. To blend tea, one must be both imaginative and strategic, combining all the senses to produce a balanced blend. A deep understanding of the variety of tea, its grade, origin, quality, processing, and possible interaction with other ingredients is required.
Try our expertly crafted authentic TeaCha® blends:
Earl Green
A fresh and healthy new take on the traditional Earl Grey, using Sencha green tea as a base instead of black tea scented with bergamot essence. The lush and grassy Sencha tempers the citrusy bergamot, developing a sweet and smooth finish. Bergamot is often used in aromatherapy to reduce anxiety. Between the soothing bergamot and the stimulating, antioxidant-rich Sencha, this tea is not one to be missed.
Blueberry Muffin
Our twist on Rooibos tea blended with superfoods hibiscus and blueberries. A guilt-free dessert treat with distinctively warming notes reminiscent of freshly baked blueberry muffins. The ultimate light indulgence, full of antioxidants and caffeine-free.
Tropical Sunset
Missing summer vacations? Our tropical medley of antioxidant-rich mango, pineapple, and melon pieces will help you feel relaxed and indulged, just like a tropical holiday. Delicious as iced tea, cold brew, or sparkling tea.
